Assessment

Assessment is based upon observation, teaching a group of beginners to skateboard, this will take place in the YMCA Sports Hall on Sunday 24th February 2008 commencing at 10.30. Tasks will also be set at the start of the programme that are to be satisfactorily completed by the assessment day.

It is recommended that learners have a group of participants to work with alongside a qualified level 2 coach as a requirement of UKCC coach education programme is to plan, deliver and evaluate their own coaching. A worksheet will also be issued that will be required to be completed by assessment day to complete the programme. This relates to their own coaching environment. Alternative assessment methods are available for learners with specific individual needs.
