The British Roller Sports Federation are committed to deliver
Level 2 Coach Education training to 200 coaches over the next 12 months

Any vacant places will be available to non-BIPHA applicants

The British Inline Puck Hockey Association (the BIPHA) have been successful in obtaining a
substantial grant from Sport England to assist with the cost of training every coach in every BIPHA club.

Training courses will commence in November and will continue over the next year at a number of regional venues across England.

As these venues and dates are confirmed they will be added to the Coach Education Calendar Page
(here)

The British Inline Puck Hockey Association (the BIPHA) are aware that delivering generic (basic) roller skating skills in schools and leisure centres is an ideal way of introducing young people to roller skating and subsequently recruiting them to various roller disciplines, it is also a way of raising club funds. But as sports clubs are discovering, more and more schools and local authority leisure centres across the UK are demanding that peripatetic teaching staff (schools) and coaches (leisure centres) delivering coaching (of all sports) should hold coach qualifications equivalent to UKCC Level 2, additionally schools and leisure centres are often insisting that coaches also hold appropriate CRB Declarations.

With this in mind the BIPHA have recently and successfully applied for and been awarded a substantial grant to enable every coach in every BIPHA club the opportunity to attend a coach education course at a reduced cost and if successful to obtain a BRSF Level 2 Coach Education Award.
