POSSIBLE SOURCES OF FUNDING FOR COACH TRAINING

The cost of training coaches may seem a bit daunting but these are high risk sports and
the reassurance that your coaches qualifications are up to date (within the last 3 years)
and that your insurance is valid is paramount
when delivering such activities in today's legitative society.

In many areas of the UK, Grant Aid to cover club 'start-up' costs
can sometimes be obtained from the local authority
for the area within which a new club is located.

Also in some local authority areas funding for 'ongoing' coach training is sometimes available.

Therefore when considering the cost of training club coaches, it is always sensible
to make contact with the Sports Development Office of the local authority
for the area within which your club is located.
