A Freestyle Skating Event

14 & 15 August 2010 ~ Westway Sports Centre, London W10 6RP
 


On August 14 and 15, 2010 the UK's largest freestyle skating event will once again take place in London.
Last year more than 130 competitors took part, and this year is expected to be even bigger.
SkateLondon is a fun, action packed weekend and includes the following events:


* International Freestyle Slalom
* Rookie Freestyle Slalom
* International Speed Slalom
* Jump & * Slides
* 'Extremely Amateur' Street Roller-Hockey Tournament
* '24minute LeMans' Relay Race
* Mini-Bladercross Style Assault Course

4th World Freestyle Roller Skating Championships

Jeonju City, Korea - 7~10 September 2010

The Fédération Internationale de Roller Sports is pleased to announce
details of the 4th World Freestyle Roller Skating Championship,
to be held in Jeonju City, Korea, Tuesday 7 ~ Friday 10 September 2010.


The World Championship is being Organised by the
Korea Roller Sports Federation
&
Jeonju Roller Skate Federation


A bulletin has been received by National Governing bodies giving details of the championships
and a copy is available for readers interest.

There are five categories:
Classic Slalmon
Men, Women & Juniors
Speed Slalmon
Men, Women & Juniors
Freestyle Slides
Men, Women & Juniors
Battle Slalmon
Men & Women
Jam Slalmon
two of more in a group

There are two age groups
Senior
born 1993 and earlier
Junior
Born 1994 and later

INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION

BattleUK III

NOTTINGHAM ~ 11 October 2008

 

The NottinghamSkaters are responsible for
what has become one of the most popular annual
freestyle skating competitions in the western hemisphere.


Rivalling similar top events France, Germany and Russia,
BattleUK features freestyle slalom as the main competition,
as well as speed slalom, freejump, slide and dance contests.


Held each Autumn, BattleUK has attracted competitors from across the UK,
France, Germany, Holland and Belgium and
as far afield as the USA, Korea, Singapore and Australia.

The next event, BattleUK III
will take place at the Victoria Leisure Centre in Nottingham on the 11th October 2008.

INTERNATIONAL LEVEL COMPETITION

BATTLE UK II

NOTTINGHAM

The weekend of 10th-11th of November was a big one for British freestyle skating.

Pro level competitors from the UK, USA, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea and many more congregated in Nottingham to battle it out for the highly coveted BattleUK title. A wonderful crowd of supporters also turned up to route for their favourite skaters, resulting in an electric atmosphere.

Igor Cheremetieff finished ahead of Rudy Op't Veld and third place Olivier Herrero in the men's international style slalom.

Chloe Seyres beat all comers to win the women's international style slalom title ahead of Naomi Grigg and Ragnhild Cornelisse.
